Dewsbury-Hall has started studying to become a sporting director with the PFA.

The PFA Business School currently offer a post-graduate diploma in Global Football Sport Directorship.

Aimed at current and former players, the course is in collaboration with the University of Portsmouth.

The programme's website states that it ‘aims to provide aspiring sporting directors with specialised training in the most complex and technical subjects that have never been covered in any training programme previously’.

Meanwhile, the PFA's goal is to ‘prepare future sporting directors for the challenges that the football industry presents on a global scale’.

Dewsbury-Hall is not the only Premier League star to have enrolled, with Brighton defender Lewis Dunk and Nottingham Forest's Taiwo Awoniyi also studying.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is another notable name the PFA have confirmed to be completing the two-year course.

Since retiring in 2012, Fowler has managed in Australia, India and Saudi Arabia but now appears to be eyeing a directorial position.

The programme is being ran by Andoni Zubizarreta and Les Reed.

Former Spain goalkeeper Zubizarreta is the current Porto sporting director after working in the same role at Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona and Marseille.

Meanwhile, Reed was previously the Southampton vice-chairman but now works in a similar role at UEFA alongside being an advisor for Wrexham.

Dewsbury-Hall is set to complete four modules on the part-time course.

The modules range from the global football industry and sport finance to football analytics and scouting.

Players enrolling will also be taught about football governance and managing strategic operations, the course website explains.

Dewsbury-Hall's move comes less than a year after he signed for Chelsea from Leicester.

Since joining the Blues last summer, he has scored three goals and added two assists in 27 appearances for the club.
