Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly begun talks with Tottenham Hotspur over a move for a young attacker, who only arrived at the North London club last summer.
Even though the summer window is still a distance away, we have already been hearing plenty of reports regarding potential exits from the North London club in the summer.
As many as 10 first-team players could leave Tottenham in the summer, with a number of players’ contracts running down, while others have fallen behind in the pecking order over recent months.
However, a surprising exit from Spurs is now alleged to be on the cards after Brighton expressed interest in signing a winger from the Lilywhites.

Brighton open talks over 20-year-old Tottenham winger
Fichajes have now claimed that Brighton have now set their sights on a summer deal for Wilson Odobert and are now showing ‘strong interest’ in the Frenchman.
Odobert, who has missed a big chunk of the season due to injury, is said to have been identified by the Seagulls as someone who can thrive in their system.
The outlet says that Brighton are aware of the Frenchman’s ‘enormous potential’ and believes he can evolve into a top player at the Amex Stadium.

Interestingly, it is asserted that Tottenham Hotspur are open to loaning out Odobert in the summer as they do not want his progression to be slowed down by a lack of minutes.
The publication adds that the negotiations between the parties are now underway, and the player ‘would welcome’ a temporary switch to Brighton.
What Ange Postecoglou has said about Wilson Odobert
This report from Fichajes might leave a few Spurs fans scratching their heads, particularly as Odobert has played regularly since returning from his injury.
In fact, Ange Postecoglou was full of praise for Odobert last week, insisting that there is a lot more to come from the winger.
Postecoglou said about the former Burnley man: “He’s one of these players who has the ability to take players on, find space, great technician and super pleased for him to get his goals. He’s worked hard silently to get back in the team.
“Obviously, he came to a new club, a big club and a big move for him and it didn’t work out for him through no fault of his own, through the injury and it’s been frustrating for me not to be able to showcase him and know how much he can develop and that’s just the starting point for him.”
