Former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete stole the show during part of the Los Angeles Dodgers' Tokyo game on Wednesday, catching a foul ball from the outstretched arm of third baseman Max Muncy.

Peete sat down the third base line inside the Tokyo Dome when a foul ball was popped up down the border of the seating and playing area.

Muncy raced over and tried to get the out over a small net. All Peete had to do was stand and get under the ball to catch it.

Peete caught the ball, which unfortunately for the famous Dodgers' fan, does not count as an out. Muncy was seen trying to make the difficult catch and missing on the location of the ball.

Peete had a long NFL career, playing in the league from 1989 through 2004, with six NFL teams.

Most famous for his time with the Eagles and Panthers, the 59-year-old is married to famous actress Holly Robinson Peete.

One of the couple's children, Rodney Peete Jr., better known as RJ, works for the Dodgers as a clubhouse attendant.

The Peete family has been seen around Dodgers games over the last few years, with Rodney even sneaking in a championship celebration picture for the team after it won the 2024 World Series.

Last April, Holly and Rodney Peete threw out the ceremonial first pitch before a Dodgers game.

The Dodgers won both of the MLB games in Tokyo, including a controversial home run from Shohei Ohtani.

Peete's fandom of the Dodgers will surely continue now that his non-football athletic skills have been on display in front of the world.
