With his job under pressure following a 3-14 season, Giants general manager Joe Schoen is assessing every option for to solve the team’s quarterback situation.
A new tidbit about that search emerged on Tuesday. According to [Mike Garafolo of NFL Network](https://x.com/MikeGarafolo/status/1901990848285319633?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1901993475270127763%7Ctwgr%5Eb2d98e413d68bd0d28ff288926be4e7f7840ea4b%7Ctwcon%5Es3_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fgiantswire.usatoday.com%2Fstory%2Fsports%2Fnfl%2Fgiants%2F2025%2F03%2F18%2Fnew-york-giants-had-interest-mason-rudolph-before-signed-pittsburgh-steelers%2F82514894007%2F), the Giants planned to meet with Mason Rudolph before he signed with the Steelers.
The meeting was going to be virtual, but Ruldolph signed with Pittsburgh instead.
The Giants and Steelers are in a similar position as both teams wait on Aaron Rodgers' decision for the 2025 season.
Last week, the Giants met with Russel Wilson and Joe Flacco. They met with Jamies Winston earlier this week.
The Giants will likely also address their quarterback situation in next months draft, in which they hold the No. 3 overall pick.
