Manchester United pulled off a mini transfer coup when snapping-up Ayden Heaven from Arsenal this winter and his signature already appears to be money well spent - so much so the Gunners are now working around the clock to avoid a potential and unwanted repeat.

Heaven was forced off against Leicester City on Sunday afternoon and United are yet to disclose the full extent of that problem, although the player himself has provided an update on his recovery.
As head coach Ruben Amorim and United supporters continue to sweat, even if they are without the defender for the short-term, there is clearly a top player in the making there.
United - and not Arsenal - will benefit from that in the years to come and that has forced a change of plan in north London with the Gunners speeding up discussions with two more highly-rated Academy products.

Both already well-known on the Premier League stage, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri were handed their first-team opportunities at Arsenal before Heaven and, as a result, the defender thought it was better to seek out his own breakthrough elsewhere as United swooped in to bring the teenager to Old Trafford.
Moving forward, fresh reports from The Times suggest Arsenal acknowledge both are due new deals.
The article indicates that key figures behind the scenes intend to sit down with Lewis-Skelly and Nwaneri shortly and any contract proposal they thrash out will take into account their current status in the squad after what has been a breakthrough season in north London and beyond. Heaven was not afforded such treatment and opted to follow his own pathway instead - much to United's delight.
The Times also detail Arsenal's plans to tie down key players; William Saliba, Gabriel and Bukayo Saka further than 2027 in a widespread measure to reduce squad uncertainty and add security when it comes to negotiating power.
