Aston Villa loanee Marcus Rashford could be set for a playing return to Manchester United in the summer.
The England international has had a superb start to life at Villa Park after signing from the Red Devils on an initial six-month loan during the winter window.
Under Unai Emery, the 27-year-old has proven his quality and has played a key role in the Villans reaching the Champions League quarter-finals.
With that being said, United may look at his progress in B6 and may be keen on keeping hold of their star academy product moving into the new season.

Rashford could return to Manchester United
There is no doubt that the versatile forward has had a positive impact alongside Marco Asensio since signing on loan.
Despite having only nine games under his belt in claret and blue, many supporters are already hoping for a permanent deal in the summer.
MORE VILLA STORIES
The Villans are said to have a £40million option to buy Rashford in the summer but that could be put on hold by the Red Devils.
Former Brentford and Leicester City manager Martin Allen believes that Ruben Amorim and Co. may be set to hold summer talks over the attacker staying on at Old Trafford.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Allen said: “He’s gone about it in the right way at Villa.
“He’s shown by going to Villa, a willingness and in the games he’s played he’s had an impact and made a difference.
“Manchester United should be looking now and asking, ‘If he can do it for them, why can’t he do it for us?’
“They need to get him in the office in the summer and say, ‘We want you to be part of Manchester United and not Aston Villa because if you’re going to play like this, we want you to do it for us.’
“*Aston Villa look much stronger with him, Villa have done really good business.*“

Aston Villa must work to keep Rashford
As a Manchester United boy, there is every chance that the 27-year-old will be hoping that things work out at the Theatre of Dreams.
On the flip side, the Villans will be hoping that Rashford opts to continue his stint in claret and blue beyond the current campaign.
The Englishman has been electric since moving to B6 and is seemingly going to get better as the season goes on as Villa look ahead to a clash against PSG.

It will be interesting to see if the Red Devils do look to keep hold of the forward or whether Monchi is given a free run to sign him on a permanent basis.
