NBA Makes Historic Cade Cunningham Announcement Before Pistons-Heat

Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham is in the midst of the best season of his NBA career so far, averaging 25.6 points, 9.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Cunningham entered the league as the Pistons' No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft. He was solid for the Pistons through his first three seasons, but broke out this year with his first All-Star selection.

Through 202 career games, Cunningham has logged 4,396 points, 1,082 rebounds and 1,484 assists.

Cunningham is one of three players in NBA history to record at least 4,300 points, 1,000 rebounds and 1,400 assists through their first 200 career games - joining Oscar Robertson and Luka Doncic.

"DETROIT'S MOTORCADE. Cade Cunningham joined Oscar Robertson (1960-63) & Luka Doncic (2018-21) as the ONLY players to tally at least 4,300 PTS, 1,000 REB, and 1,400 AST through their first 200 games!" the NBA wrote in an announcement on X.
