In four years as head coach of the Texas Longhorns, Tom Herman compiled a 32-18 record, including a bowl win in each of his seasons on the Forty Acres, but never passed the 10-regular season win mark and never brought a Big 12 Championship to Austin
With his departure from the program now more than four years removed, a time in which his successor, Steve Sarkisian has returned the Longhorns to being a perennial nation championship contender, many Texas fans don't look fondly on the Herman days.
Despite that, it would be hard to say that Herman did not acquire elite talent while at the helm at Texas. Apart from the players listed below, Herman signed countless blue-chip prospects, many of whom have gone on to the NFL.
