The Denver Nuggets are on the road to face the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena on Wednesday night in a crucial Western Conference showdown.
Denver is coming off a surprising victory over the Golden State Warriors on Monday despite being without their star duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
They will now look to take down the Lakers who enter Wednesday's contest on a two-game winning streak and having won six of their last 10 games.
Of course, Wednesday's matchup also has major playoff seeding implications as the Nuggets currently lead the Lakers by one game for fourth in the Western Conference standings.
Despite the high stakes of Wednesday's contest, Denver may have to face off against Los Angeles without two of their star players as they have listed both Jokic and Murray as questionable.

Jokic is listed as questionable with a right elbow contusion and left ankle injury that kept him out of Monday's victory, but he is expected to return on Wednesday.
Murray is also expected to suit up against the Lakers despite dealing with a right ankle sprain that kept him out of Monday's win over the Warriors.
Denver has also listed Christian Braun as questionable with a foot injury and Aaron Gordon is listed as probable despite right calf injury management and a left ankle sprain.
On the other side, the Lakers could also be shorthanded in Wednesday's matchup as they have listed five players on their injury report which is headlined by LeBron James and Luka Doncic.
Of course, James has been ruled out for Wednesday's game due to a groin injury and he is joined by Rui Hachimura and Maxi Kleber who have also been ruled out.
Doncic is listed probable for Wednesday's matchup and he is expected to play despite dealing with a right ankle sprain. Trey Jamison III has also been listed as questionable with an illness.
