Former Bills' wideout Stefon Diggs reportedly visiting AFC East foe

When the Buffalo Bills traded away wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans last April and decided to take on a dead cap hit of over $30 million, Brandon Beane was sending a strong message to Bills Mafia. He cares about the team mentality and for him to make that move and take on a huge hit, it just shows how things were behind the scenes with Diggs and the Bills.

Buffalo and Diggs were a fantastic pairing back in 2020, as Diggs played a huge role in the development of Josh Allen, who eventually won his first MVP award of his career this past February. However, all good things must come to an end.

When Diggs was traded to the Texans, his original contract that he had with the Bills was revamped upon arriving to Houston and he essentially played on a one-year deal with the Texans. He would last just eight games before tearing his ACL that sidelined him for the rest of the season.

Diggs is now a free agent and it’s hard to imagine that he returns to Houston, so he will more than likely be looking for his fourth team of his career, but this is the first time he is a free agent.
