Mid-March is here, and this point of the NBA schedule is typically headlined by minor injuries and players getting right before the playoffs.
Evidently, the regular season does have less than a month remaining, meaning teams are going to have to kick it in gear before too long.
The Golden State Warriors happen to be in their best form of the season, posting a 15-2 record with Jimmy Butler in the lineup.
Butler's arrival from the Miami Heat has elevated the entire squad in a massive way, but no one has benefitted more than Stephen Curry.
The legendary guard has a co-star that allows him to play at an MVP level without defenses being entirely honed in on him.
Curry recently missed a game, though, as he sat out against the Milwaukee Bucks. Butler allowed the Warriors to pick up the win despite the absence of their superstar, which is a massive benefit they didn't have before the deadline.
Kerr makes Curry announcement
Golden State will only go as far as Curry will allow them, though, so his being 100% healthy and in form is crucial.
The Warriors were able to pick up a win over the Bucks, though they will get Curry back on the hardwood against the Toronto Raptors on Thursday, as Steve Kerr revealed.
"[Steph]'s doing great. He's going to play tomorrow," Kerr said on 95.7 The Game.

It was just a one-game absence, but Curry looked energized on the bench. If he's healthy and bounced back from an emotional standpoint, he'll be ready to lead the club as they remain red-hot.
With a 40-29 record, the Warriors have a thin lead as the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference.
In pursuit of a fifth banner, Curry is going to have to remain in MVP form while Butler takes off a massive load from him on the hardwood.
Golden State is certainly hot at the right time, and it'll be interesting to see how far they can go in the playoffs.
