Everton have made a decision on James Garner and it has been revealed when discussions over a new contract are likely to take place.
The 24-year-old will enter the final year of his contract at the Toffees at the end of the season.
Garner has been key at Goodison Park in recent weeks after having a tough start to life at the Blues due to several fitness issues after his move from Manchester United.
David Moyes’ heroics in the Premier League at the Merseyside outfit have involved the English midfielder as a key cog in the engine room, and when potential talks over a new deal will take place has been revealed.

Moyes will want to keep Garner at Bramley Moore Dock
Abdoulaye Doucoure will leave Goodison Park as things stand, as his current deal expires at the end of the season.
Moyes could also potentially lose Idrissa Gueye, who is also in the final year of his deal, which would undoubtedly be a big blow for the Scottish manager.
The 61-year-old head coach has been impressive since returning to the Toffees, boasting an eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League at the moment.
Doucoure and Gueye have been critical to the Blues’ success in recent weeks, and their possible departure will arguably leave them with massive voids to fill in the squad.
Carlos Alcaraz has shown glimpses of his potential at the Merseyside outfit since his move to Goodison Park from Flamengo in the winter transfer window.
The Argentine ace could seemingly be the perfect partner for Garner in the midfield to lead the Toffees into Bramley Moore Dock next season.
While reinforcements will be needed next summer, the Blues already have some quality players at their disposal who should be tied down to new contracts.
