The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) to enhance collaboration in mental health and neurosciences research and training.
The agreement was formalised on March 18 by Surgeon Vice-Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General of AFMS, and Dr. Prathima Murthy, Director of NIMHANS.
The MoU will foster joint academic initiatives, faculty exchange programmes, and research projects, addressing key healthcare challenges and promoting advancements in patient care and scientific innovation.
