Sporting Lisbon have confirmed an agreement with Chelsea for the transfers of Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo.
The Portuguese club revealed that the Blues could pay up to £41.9million for winger Quenda, who turns 18 in April.
Quenda broke into the first team under now Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim and has made 44 senior appearances.
He will stay at Sporting until 2026.
Defensive midfielder Essugo – currently on loan with Las Palmas in Spain – is set to cost £18.5m. He will join Chelsea this summer.
He became Sporting’s youngest player when he made his first-team debut a week after turning 16 in 2021.
