On March 14, 2025, Consul General Yang Yundong, along with over 50 attendees including representatives from media outlets and academic institutions, attended the media and scholars briefing on the spirit of the Two Sessions hosted by General Consulate of PRC in Karachi.
CG Yang elaborated on the outcomes of the Two Sessions and offered a comprehensive overview on the achievements of Chinese modernization over the past year, framed through four key themes: “Economic Growth, Innovation-Driven Development, Social Governance and International Cooperation.” He stated that the Chinese government will stay committed to the general principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability and adopt more efficient measures to take high-quality development to a new height. China stands ready to work with Pakistan to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of our two countries and deepen practical cooperation in all fields, thereby improving public wellbeing of both sides.
The Pakistani media and scholars warmly congratulated the successful convening of the Two Sessions and expressed high admiration for the achievements of Chinese modernization. They are willing to actively promote the fruitful outcomes of China’s Two Sessions and enhance correct perception of China among various sectors in Pakistan.
CG Yang also responded to journalists’ questions on-site regarding China’s economic and social development, China-Pakistan relations, and other issues and gave interviews to multiple media outlets.
