Consultative meeting between Foreign Ministries of India and Mongolia held
**AKIPRESS.COM** - The 5th consultative meeting between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and India was held in New Delhi on March 19, the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia reported.
The meeting was chaired by Munkhtushig Lkhaanaajav, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Shri Jaideep Mazumdar, Secretary for East Asian Affairs of the Ministry of External Affairs of India.
At the beginning of the meeting, State Secretary Munkhtushig Lkhaanaajav noted that Mongolia attaches great importance to deepening the strategic partnership with India, Mongolia's important partner in the region and a "third neighbor".
The parties discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation between Mongolia and India in the fields of politics, trade, economy, mining, information technology, education and culture, as well as in the regional and international arenas, exchanged views on high-level visits and events to be held as part of celebration of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025.
The sides noted the rapid development of projects and programs jointly implemented by the two countries and agreed to continue close cooperation to ensure the timely commissioning of the oil refinery, one of the 14 mega projects of the Mongolian government and a symbol of Mongolian-Indian relations.
The parties expressed their continued support and cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and international organizations.
