The 19-year-old pulled out a heroic stop deep into added time, saving former Cherry Shannon Albuery’s spot kick at full stretch to her left.
This came after a sensational triple save not long into the second half at 1-0 as Bournemouth picked up another three points to make it 17 wins from 17 in the league.
Speaking to the Daily Echo after the game, Foley talked through the lead up to the crucial spot kick.
“So I actually spoke to Blez \[Helen Bleazard\] just before and I asked her opinion because I know the girls have played against her for many years,” Foley said.
“She did say she'd open up and then I could tell by her run up that she was only going to go that way and luckily, she did and I saved it.”

The Cherries got themselves an early lead through Chloe Gilroy, her corner kick going all the way in at the front post within the opening five minutes.
An even contest was without further score until the 68th minute, when substitute Ellie Strippel doubled the Cherries advantage.
But Moneyfields hit back not long after through Brooke Garcia, to set up a nervy end to the game for the hosts, culminating in the stoppage time spot kick and Foley’s heroics.
On the game as a whole, Foley said: “My heart probably couldn't handle that 90 minutes, that was stressful!
“But I'm really proud of the girls that we got it done today.”
She added: “I think it was always going to be hard playing Moneyfields twice in a matter of five days. That's always going to be hard.
“So I think they stepped up their game but I think we had the mentality today to get the win and get the three points.”
_(Image: Richard Crease)_ The goal Foley conceded was her first in 22 hours of football, and she said: “The last time we did concede was against Moneyfields back in September, so we knew it was going to be a harder game.
“We knew they were going to have chances and at the end of the day they've taken one well, but we've come away with the win so that's all we care about.”
Asked about her triple save, Foley said: “At the end of the day my job is just to try help the girls out when they get past them and I've done that today and I'm happy to play my part.”
The result means the Cherries can win the title and promotion on Sunday at the Vitality Stadium against Bristol Rovers.
Asked about that prospect, Foley said: “I think all the girls are buzzing.
“Going into this week, we knew it was two big games and we knew what we could do if we got it done. I think the girls are all ready for it and riled up for it.”
