Manchester United are planning to refresh their attack in the summer after a frustrating campaign under Ruben Amorim.
The club has struggled for goals, with captain Bruno Fernandes leading the scoring charts on just eight Premier League goals.
United had been linked with a move for Sporting Lisbon’s Geovany Quenda, but the winger has chosen Chelsea instead.
This has forced United to explore other options, with potential departures also set to influence their transfer plans.
Both Marcus Rashford and Antony face uncertain futures, with the club open to major changes in attack.
Now, reports suggest United have turned their attention to Borussia Dortmund in search of a new signing.
Manchester United turn attention to Felix Nmecha
According to Bild, United are ‘chasing’ Felix Nmecha who has impressed in the Bundesliga this season.
Despite Dortmund’s struggles, Nmecha has stood out with his composure and quick thinking in the heart of midfield.
The German club, however, view him as an important player for the future and may resist a sale.
Other players such as Gregor Kobel, Jamie Gittens, and Karim Adeyemi could be sold before him.
One factor that could help United is Dortmund’s need to balance their books after likely missing out on the Champions League.
The £40m-rated midfielder has been out for seven weeks with a ligament injury but recently returned to light training.

Should he make the move to Old Trafford, he would have to win over fans due to his past ties with Manchester City.
Meanwhile, United have also drawn up a four-man shortlist of strikers ahead of the summer window.
Sky’s Florian Plettenberg reported that Viktor Gyokeres, Hugo Ekitike, Benjamin Sesko, and Victor Osimhen are among strikers currently on the list.
United need firepower after struggling in front of goal, with Amad Diallo the club’s second-highest scorer on just six.
The club remain restricted by Financial Fair Play but are expected to push ahead with key signings.
With plans for a £2billion stadium also in the works, the summer promises to be a defining one at Old Trafford.
