Sane is 29 years old and has some more years to offer at top level. He will be given a role of rotating with both Martinelli and Saka on the wings. The German winger can carry this role in excellent manner and signing him for free will be counted as a very good deal.
Sane can still sign a contract extension with Bayern. But if he decides to leave, Gunners are expected to face heavy competition for his signature. Mikel Arteta can have upper hand in race due to his relationship with Sane from their time together at Man City.
