Germany is now warning its citizens that they are not guaranteed entry to the U.S. even if they have a visa or entry waiver, Reuters reported.
The country updated its travel advice for the U.S. after several Germans were detained at the border.
"The final decision on whether a person can enter the U.S. lies with the U.S. border authorities," a spokesperson for Germany's foreign ministry said on Wednesday, according to Reuters.
This is a developing story and more information will be added shortly.
