Commanders Predicted to Bring in 48-Touchdown Playmaker Alongside Jayden Daniels

The Washington Commanders saw rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels take them on a magical run during his rookie season. With Daniels leading the way, the Commanders made a run all the way to the NFC Championship Game.

Everything moving forward will be about building around Daniels.

In his rookie year, Daniels played in all 17 regular season games. He completed 69% of his pass attempts for 3,568 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Also, he picked up 891 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.

He backed up those regular season numbers by completing 65.8% of his passes for 822 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in three playoff games.

A new prediction has been made for Washington ahead of the 2025 NFL draft that would add even more playmaking around Daniels.

Marco Enriquez of Pro Football Network has released a new two-round mock draft. At pick No. 29 overall in the first round, he had the Commanders selecting Ohio State playmaking running back TreVeyon Henderson.

"TreVeyon Henderson is an explosive runner with excellent vision and agility. His quick change of direction stands out, along with his solid long speed. Henderson also ranks among the best in the class in explosive run rate," he wrote.

During the 2024 season with the Buckeyes, Henderson was a huge part of helping lead Ohio State to a national championship win. He carried the football 144 times for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns. His yards per carry average was at 7.1.

As a receiver out of the backfield, Henderson caught 27 passes for 284 yards and one touchdown.

NFL.com's Lance Zierlein has made a massive comparison for Henderson. He believes that the Buckeyes' star will end up being a similar player to current star Aaron Jones.
