Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher isn’t going to be short of offers this summer to leave Anfield, with Leeds United claimed to be one of those suitors.
As we continue to speculate what the summer might look like for Leeds, dependant on how their remaining games in the promotion race pan out, there are links emerging left and right.
Plenty of these signings would only be a viable development if the club find themselves in the Premier League for next season, but working behind the scenes to get a headstart in the summer is a prudent measure to take in the meantime.

GiveMeSport have credited Leeds with interest in signing Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher this summer, with the 25-year-old facing a blow to his first team prospects with the imminent arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia.
The Republic of Ireland stopper is at a crossroads, and following his outing in the EFL Cup final last time out, losing 2-1, Liverpool Echo journalist Ian Doyle believes he could have played his final game for the Merseyside giants.
“Like his Liverpool team-mates, Caoimhin Kelleher cut a gloomy figure after the final whistle at Wembley. And the Irishman has extra reason to have felt disappointed at the occasion, given it could very well be his last-ever appearance for the Reds.
“Wrapping up the Premier League title with games to spare could hand Kelleher the opportunity of a farewell outing. Otherwise, he is behind Alisson Becker in the pecking order, with the domestic cups – Kelleher’s way into the Liverpool first team in recent seasons – now a distant memory this campaign.
“About to enter the final year of his Reds contract, the goalkeeper will be expected to leave in the summer considering the arrival of Mamardashvili and the summer representing the last time the Reds can gain anything like top dollar for a player who would walk into most other Premier League starting XIs. Chelsea, Bournemouth and promotion hopefuls Leeds United have all been linked of late.”

Kelleher a superb coup if Leeds can pull it off
If Leeds are indeed in the running to sign Kelleher from Liverpool this summer and stand a chance, then it would be a remarkable coup in goal.
There’s no hiding from the fact that Leeds need an overhaul across their starting lineup this summer if they are promoted, and one of the first positions on the list is the goalkeeper.
Leeds would need someone that is capable of winning points on their own, and at the moment in the division below, Illan Meslier is costing us a lot more than he’s saving us.
