Man City face big problem as Chelsea reportedly contact the agents of £25m star who Pep loves

Chelsea could be about to deal a major blow to Manchester City this summer.

Both Pep Guardiola and Enzo Maresca need to bolster their ranks at Manchester City and Chelsea respectively in the summer transfer window.

Man City are said to be ready to sell and release as many as eight players before the start of next season.

Numerous big names could be set for an exit from The Etihad.

Ederson is being heavily tipped to leave Manchester City this summer.

If the Brazilian is moved on, getting a world-class goalkeeper through the door will be one of Pep’s chief remits before the start of next season.

Mile Svilar will seemingly be on the market this summer, with talks regarding a new contract with Roma having apparently reached an impasse.

He is the perfect candidate to replace Ederson at The Etihad.

Tuttomercatoweb claim that Man City are following the international closely.

However, Chelsea have gone one step further by contacting Svilar’s agents about a potential move to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Siamo La Roma claim that he’s valued at around £25 million.

For a goalkeeper with Svilar’s ability, that would represent an unbelievable bargain deal.

What Pep Guardiola thinks about Mile Svilar

According to a report from Il Messaggero, Pep Guardiola absolutely loves the 25-year-old Roma stopper.

So Chelsea signing him this summer would be a big blow to Pep and Man City.

The 6ft 2in Serbia international is incredibly gifted with the ball at his feet, and he’s a sensational shot-stopper as well.

He’s let in 30 goals in 29 games for Roma this season, and has made 85 saves in the process, with a success rate of 77.2% (FBREF).

Chelsea signing Mile Svilar this summer would be a really bitter pill to swallow for Manchester City.
