Asa Newell's girlfriend Aaliyah Crump has committed to the Texas Longhorns, but the guard is not afraid to show the Georgia Bulldogs some love. Crump is expected to be a potential women's college basketball star for Texas in 2025-26 as Newell is a likely candidate to enter the NBA draft.
Back in Feb., it looks like Crump paid a visit to Athens, Ga., and posted a photo on Instagram of herself wearing a matching Dawgs No. 14 jersey alongside Newell. The couple posed at Stegeman Coliseum while wearing complementing Newell jerseys.
"Bulldog for the weekend #14," Crump posted on Feb. 10.
Crump will be cheering Newell on during March Madness, but it will soon be "Horns Up" for the Montverde Academy (Fla.) standout. Newell's girlfriend is a five-star prospect drawing plenty of interest from top college basketball programs before committing to Texas.

Crump is the No. 5 ranked player in the 2025 college basketball recruiting class, per 247Sports. The star was named a McDonald's All-American for 2025. Crump also received offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes and Baylor Bears among others.
"I chose Texas women's basketball because from day one the coaches made the program feel like home to me," Crump said, per Texas Athletics. "The University of Texas will allow me to play the highest level of basketball and also receive a top-tier education.
"The coaching staff was very intentional in the way they recruited me and challenged me to be my best every day. I've always dreamt of playing for a winning program, and I know that those dreams will come to life playing for and his amazing staff."
