Fresh transfer rumours name Chelsea as a potential suitor for an exciting 17-year-old forward.
If you look at the transfer pattern of Chelsea in the last couple of years, you’ll see a huge desire to go out and sign young stars for the future.
It certainly doesn’t seem out of the question that the Blues would target more teenage signings because it’s been a common trend under this ownership.
Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez, who officially move to Chelsea this summer, are both aged 17. In addition, it’s been confirmed that Chelsea have agreed to sign Geovany Quenda, with the 17-year-old Sporting Lisbon talent set to arrive at Stamford Bridge in 2026.

Chelsea looking at Olympiacos youngster Charalampos Kostoulas
According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea are one of several Premier League sides keeping a close eye on Olympiacos wonderkid Charalampos Kostoulas.
It is understood that Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest are monitoring the 17-year-old striker. Also, European clubs Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and AC Milan are keen.
The report says that Aston Villa are the suitor currently leading the race for him after registering interesting, though.
It is stated that Olympiacos don’t want to sell Kostoulas, who’s under contract with them until 2030. They would demand as much as €30m (£25m) for his signature this summer.

Even though Kostoulas may be an unknown talent to English audiences, he’s played regularly in Europe this season.

At £25m, the youngster could be worth a gamble for someone like Villa, especially as they’ve not replaced Jhon Duran. However, we’re struggling to see why Chelsea should ramp up their interest any further because he’s not what they need.
Chelsea’s summer transfer plan includes going big on signing a new forward for the 2025/26 season, and we’d advise them to make sure it’s someone ready to hit the ground running.

Chelsea should push hard for triple swoop on Sporting
Chelsea and Sporting clearly have a good relationship after agreeing deals for both Quenda and Essugo this month. We’d now love to see the Blues go all out to complete a triple raid on Lisbon.
Sporting frontman Viktor Gyokeres, 26, is the type of centre-forward that Chelsea should be targeting rather than another 17-year-old rising star.
His return of 40 goals in 41 club appearances this season speaks for itself. In fact, he’s been one of the world’s most clinical strikers since he joined Sporting in 2023 from Coventry City.

Viktor Gyokeres’ Sporting career
While we understand investing in young stars for the future, this Chelsea team is crying out for the finished product to help bridge the gap to the best teams in the country.
Gyokeres is top of Chelsea’s striker shortlist ahead of the summer, along with Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap.
