Arsenal could be awarded two Premier League titles if Manchester City are stripped of their honours after 115 charges were brought against the club by the league

We could be in line for some new Premier League champions - if Manchester City are stripped of their crowns.
The verdict on the 115 charges levelled against the club by the league is still pending. The club has vehemently denied any misconduct and pledged to fight the allegations of financial rule breaches between 2009 and 2018.

However, should they be found guilty, one potential penalty could involve them being stripped of the titles they've won, if it's determined they were unfairly gained.
In such a scenario, the runner-up team would likely be awarded the title.
This would mean both Manchester United and Liverpool could be handed two titles for the period during which the charges apply. Both teams finished second to City in two of the four seasons when they clinched the title.

While the subsequent years fall outside the timeframe of the charges, it could still be argued that City continued to reap benefits from breaking the rules, and therefore should be stripped of titles beyond this period.
If the Premier League decides to revoke titles, this the likes of Arsenal could profit.

The Gunners have been runners-up to City for the past two seasons. If City were to lose those titles, Arsenal would be elevated to Champions, reports Football London.
2020/21 - Manchester United
2021/22 - Liverpool
2022/23 - Arsenal
2023/24 - Arsenal

Should City be found guilty, the repercussions could vary from a hefty fine, a significant points deduction, or even being booted out of the Premier League.
However, if they are cleared of the charges, then the club will not face any penalties.
