March Madness is finally upon us. It’s time for brackets to bust and prospects to rise.
We all see how important Ryan Dunn has been of late. Who could join him and Oso in the Suns’ young core?
In case you missed my first couple of pieces, I broke down Johni Broome, Carter Bryant, Maxime Raynaud, Nique Clifford, Kam Jones, and JT Toppin. Linked below.
Now, let’s highlight more prospects that should be on your radar this March and that should be within the Phoenix Suns’ projected draft range.
This piece will highlight Danny Wolf, Ryan Kalkbrenner, Alex Condo, and Adou Thiero.

The Suns would hold the 29th and 54th picks in the 2025 NBA Draft if the season ended today, as they hold Cleveland's and Denver’s picks in the first and second rounds, respectively.
The Prospects?
Here are three players that could fit what the Suns’ brass is looking for in the short and long term. Let’s dive in!
Danny Wolf — 7’0” Center (Michigan)
Danny Wolf is a 7’0” junior out of Michigan who has a unique skill set at his size with his ability to put the ball on the deck and as a playmaker.
Wolf may project more as a big initiating forward, but at 7’0” he has the size of a center.
His role at the next level as a secondary initiator is clear offensively, but the red flag would be his foot speed and interior defense/rim protection as a big.
He is a unique talent and has an excellent opportunity to raise his stock this tournament.
Ryan Kalkbrenner — 6’10” F/C (Creighton)
Kalkbrenner brings size and skill as a 7’1” big man with the ability to protect the rim and finish at an elite level. He embraces the dirty work and is among the best finishers in the country.
Kalkbrenner does the simple things really well. He sets tough screens, rolls hard, and he can make the right pass off the short roll.
His size, combined with a refined post-game and interior defensive presence, create a high floor that’s attractive for a likely second-round pick. He may be “boring” since he’s been around the block a few times, but that type of consistency could be exactly what the Suns need from their (potential) backup big.
Alex Condon — 6’11” F/C (Florida)
Condon recently put together a 27-point, 10-rebound game against Alabama, generating attention to his draft stock.
He has flashed displays of athletic finishing along with a high motor. He has some shooting range and there’s reason to believe he could space the floor at the next level.
His passing has been a clear strength throughout the year as well. NBA teams are ultimately trying to decide just how real his three-point shooting is because that could make or break his stock.
I like his fit as a player Phoenix takes a swing on in the second round if he keeps his name in the draft.
Bonus
Adou Thiero — 6’8” Forward (Arkansas)
Adou Thiero is a raw forward with size and athleticism that could provide a boost to the Suns’ forward/wing group.
Thiero is known for his transition offense, play-finishing, and defensive disruption. He is considered a non-shooting wing or combo forward. He was initially someone I wanted to highlight in this piece, but he’s confirmed to be out for the first game. It’s unknown how close he is to a return, but if he does, keep an eye on him.
