Leeds United would prefer it if Everton signed Jack Harrison on a permanent deal in the summer but it seems that is unlikely to happen with the club believed to be searching for his replacement. The winger, who has been on loan at Everton since 2023, has scored just five times in 64 appearances for the Merseyside outfit and the Toffees are likely to let him go once his loan expires at the end of the season.

However, the winger has looked better in recent weeks since the arrival of Moyes as their new manager and the Scot has trusted him with more minutes in the last few games.
There is still no sign that the Everton manager is prepared to sign him on a permanent deal but on the positive side, Harrison has been more of a regular in the team under the Scot.

Harrison still has time to convince the Everton boss and the winger admitted that Moyes has provided more clarity and details about what he wants from him on the pitch.
He is feeling good about his form at Everton at the moment and apart from his hard work and the help of his teammates, the winger also credited the current Everton manager for his recent upturn in form.
“I know there’s still a long way I can go”, Harrison was quoted as saying by the Liverpool ECHO.
“I think the manager has offered a bit more detail in terms of what he wants from players, so it’s good to get some of that clarity.
“I’m feeling in a good moment and a lot of it is down to the manager while some of it is myself doing some things off the pitch and then teammates as well.”
Leeds will hope Moyes changes his mind about the winger
The Whites have several headaches to solve in the summer, especially if they get promoted to the Premier League. They do not want the extra problem of Harrison returning to Elland Road.
Everton are yet to indicate that they are planning to sign the winger on a permanent deal, which would be a major problem for Leeds given his wages and the animosity the fans feel towards him.
Leeds will bank on Moyes changing his mind on the 28-year-old winger and agreeing to sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
