Just a few weeks ago, a lot of people had written the Golden State Warriors off and figured their season was over.
Now they are the sixth seed in their conference and playing like true playoff contenders again.
Jimmy Butler is a huge reason why things are going so well for the team and they have been on a great run since he was traded.
As noted by Legion Hoops, the Warriors are now 15-3 since trading for Butler.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have gone 4-16.
After all the drama, rumors, and speculation, it looks like Butler coming to the Warriors was a great move for the organization.

Golden State’s latest win was over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday, when Butler posted 24 points and 10 assists.
Since coming to the Warriors, he has averaged 17.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
Those numbers are all better than what he was doing with the Heat before the highly controversial trade.
Butler isn’t the only reason the Warriors are doing well, but he has clearly added something special to his new team.
And all of this is happening at the perfect time because the playoffs are just a few weeks away.
There was a time when it looked like the Warriors would miss the postseason entirely, and now they hold the sixth seed and would bypass the Play-In Tournament entirely if it started today.
The Warriors have to keep it up if they want to storm into the playoffs, which is no easy task.
But they have looked very cohesive and strong lately, and their energy and chemistry are better.
Butler is obviously a very welcome presence on the team and they’re happy he’s there.
