While there are frustrations amongst Chelsea fans at the current situation the first team find themselves in, there is significant optimism about the future of the club.
Blues supporters protested Todd Boehly and co recently outside Stamford Bridge, with them not happy for a variety of reasons including prioritising signing youthful prospects over established first team stars.
It seems the ownership did not respond to these concerns particularly, given the fact that they have already confirmed deals for Geovany Quenda and Dario Essugo to both join from Sporting Lisbon ahead of the summer transfer window.
The latter is set to join the first team next year, with Essugo providing cover for Moises Caicedo in midfield.

He will be joined at Stamford Bridge by the arriving Estevao Willian, with there a lot of excitement over the Brazilian’s potential.
Chelsea believe Estevao is a ‘generational’ talent, and there is a real chance he could be pushing for a starting spot when he turns up in West London.
He is often spoken about as one of the most promising players in world football, and NXGN’s list for Goal of the 50 best teenage prospects in football sees the Brazilian ranked at number two, only behind Lamine Yamal.
This sees him ahead of the likes of Endrick and Ethan Nwaneri, who are making significant impressions on Real Madrid and Arsenal respectively.

Estevao’s record-breaking season in Brazil
Despite being just 17, the winger has already established himself as a seriously exciting talent due to his excellent stats playing in his home country.
Estevao broke Neymar’s record for most goal contributions in a season in Brazil’s Serie A, scoring 13 and assisting nine.
It has already been predicted that Estevao could displace Noni Madueke out of the Chelsea setup given how much he could deliver, and his abilities could end up be a significant judgement of the owners’ plans to keep signing young talents.
