The Pittsburgh Steelers have re-signed promising outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon after they let him hit free agency, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2-TV in Houston. Moon was not tendered as an exclusive-rights free agent, and this deal will likely come in below that tender amount.
The Steelers claimed Moon off waivers last year when he was released by the Baltimore Ravens. A preseason ankle injury cost Moon nearly a month of time in the preseason and then the first four weeks of the regular season, but he returned to be a depth player and special teamer for the final 13 games.
