Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger talked to the press at Germany-s training camp and shared some thoughts about his future when asked about wheter or not he will be interested in finishing his career in Italy.
“For me, in my past, Italy was a very important country, a great League to learn as a defender, I love the country in general, the food, the pasta, the pizza... I really enjoyed my time there, it has great teams like Juventus, Napoli, Roma, the Milan teams, but to be honest, although in football you never know, I am very, very happy where I am now, I am not thinking about leaving anytime soon, that’s all, but well, in football you never know,” he said.
Rudiger has become a cornerstone player for Real Madrid and also a leader in the current squad after a rough season debut where he didn’t quite meet expectations. However, it’s clear that he still has fuel left in the tank and he will be an important player for the next few years.
