Devin Booker Should Join Emerging Eastern Conference Team, Ex-NBA Player Says

Devin Booker just poured in a sizzling 41 points against the Chicago Bulls last night. That has been the focus around the Phoenix Suns star for most. However, there is one former NBA player that is discussing Booker in a completely different manner today.

The former Kentucky guard saw his name surface as a focal point of some fantasy general managing. Considering the Suns' disappointing 2024-25 NBA season and the previous speculation that the organization would work with Kevin Durant to trade him this offseason, Booker's name has also been involved in its fair share of trade talk.

Run It Back on FanDuel TV was recently discussing a rumor that suggested the Detroit Pistons as a prime suitor for the services of the talented offensive guard this offseason. One member of the crew, Lou Williams, absolutely loved the idea.

**"I would love to see Devin Booker with this group [the Pistons]. They need another scoring punch. They need another veteran guy that can come in, that can be a one-two punch with Cade Cunningham.

And again, right now, you're seeing a team that is sitting on the sixth seed that got so much young talent and a lot of different guys. [The] coaching staff is amazing, culture there in Detroit is amazing, and you're starting to see Little Ceasars Arena being packed out again. We haven't seen that for a number of years.

So, if you bring that star power into the city of Detroit, I think you got a good thing going if you can land Devin Booker."**

For Suns fans that are looking for some comfort with these rumors, many on Twitter/X pointed out the fact that the information in question did not have a legitimate source.

If Booker is moved away from Phoenix this offseason, it will be worth paying attention to more credible trade talk than that of what the Run It Back crew was working with.
