Everton’s summer transfer window could centre around the search for a new striker.
A lot of questions remain to be answered on Merseyside, with an extremely interesting summer ahead of Everton.
The work David Moyes has done cannot go underappreciated after the Scotsman has turned around what was a dismal 2024/25 campaign under Sean Dyche.
Speaking of the former Everton manager, Dyche could find himself back in management soon but it may well be in the Championship.
Some struggles from Dyche’s tenure are just beginning to creep back into Goodison Park, with goals becoming hard to come by of late.
With Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Everton future still uncertain, the Friedkins will be assessing their options ahead of the summer.
And TBR Football’s Chief Transfer Correspondent Graeme Bailey has told Everton News there is one striker who is certainly on the radar.

Tammy Abraham is on Everton’s radar this summer
Moyes’ striker options have been extremely limited due to numerous injuries to his first-team options.

Beto has impressed Everton fans on the whole, but even he has seen his form drop over recent weeks.
Tammy Abraham is a player who could be on the move this summer, with his time at AS Roma hitting the rocks over the last year or so.
“Abraham is very likely to leave Italy this summer and he is someone who David Moyes has looked at before, he is on Everton’s radar for sure,” said Bailey.
“The striker still believes that he could be involved for England, but to do that he needs to be playing and scoring and that has to be at the right club.”
Moyes wanted to sign Abraham for West Ham in the past, but his signature was deemed too expensive and he headed off to Rome.
After leaving Chelsea in 2021 and spending this season with AC Milan, it now looks as if his time with The Friedkin Group’s other club is coming to an end.
The Friedkin Group could make Abraham deal possible for Everton
Abraham has been praised as ‘amazing’ in the past, but he is now looking for a fresh start with a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad on his mind.
The Toffees could potentially hold an advantage in the expected pursuit of Abraham this summer.
Everton is not the only club that The Friedkin Group own, having now owned Roma for a number of years.
However, any deal between the two clubs would now come under review for fair market value over any potential agreement struck.
The Premier League could end their APT regulations, which would allow clubs to source sponsorship deals linked to their owners.
But any transfer deals between clubs owned by the same group/individual would still need to be checked for complying with a fair market value.
