Nottingham Forest have now made contact with the representatives of a £63 million “Rolls-Royce” star, according to a recent report.
Nottingham Forest eyeing two English players
It has been an excellent campaign for the Reds so far, but they will know there is work still to be done in the remaining nine games of the Premier League season to confirm their place in next season’s Champions League.

Nottingham Forest are interested in signing a player who is already familiar with several of their current players.
Securing a place in the top four could mean Forest are very busy this summer, as their transfer kitty will receive a big boost. One player who they could look to bring to the City Ground is defender Fikayo Tomori, who looks set to be available for a transfer this summer by AC Milan.
Tomori has fallen out of favour in Italy, and it’s been reported that Forest are weighing up a move to sign the former Chelsea man. The Italian giants are looking to get around £21 million, and his experience of European football could be a boost for the Reds.

As well as looking at Tomori, Forest are also keeping a close eye on Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham. There are several Premier League teams interested in signing the young star, Forest being one of those, and they could make an offer should the Black Cats fail to seal promotion to the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to strengthen the core of his side in the summer, as according to Football Transfers, Nottingham Forest are in contact with Viktor Gyokeres’ representatives as they eye an ambitious transfer.

The report states that Forest are the ones who have initiated contact with the Swedish international, as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, and many more are showing a willingness to complete a deal this summer. Evangelos Marinakis and Nuno both rate the striker and see Gyokeres as the ‘ideal’ long-term successor to Chris Wood, who has been in fantastic form this season.
It goes on to add that, given Forest are close to sealing Champions League qualification, Marinakis wants to keep pushing the club forward and has his eyes on Gyokeres. Meanwhile, the Sporting Lisbon striker, who is said to be available for a fee of £63 million this summer, is ‘intrigued’ by the prospect of joining Forest, given how this season has gone.
Football scout Ben Mattinson believes Gyokeres, who has been dubbed a “Rolls-Royce” by journalist Zack Lowy, would be a perfect fit for Forest, and they would be the right fit for him as well.
He wrote on X: “This is pretty much a perfect move for Gyökeres, the right level club, and he will likely be playing UCL football. They play a style which suits him perfectly, and he would score goals for fun in their system. The right type of signing for Forest to stay competitive too.”
