Jack Harrison has been thrown into the deep end again at Everton since the return of David Moyes.
The Leeds United loanee is now in his second season at Goodison Park, but had struggled for form under Sean Dyche during his tenure.
With Harrison’s loan deal expiring at the end of the season and Moyes looking ahead to his first proper transfer window with Everton, there is a permanent decision to be made.

Harrison sets out Everton aims
Moyes’ arrival at Goodison Park proved to be exactly what was needed and Everton look rejuvenated under the management of the Scotsman.
Overseeing 10 Premier League games, Moyes has lost just one, and his side now sit 17 points above the relegation zone despite being just one point clear upon his arrival.

With the Blues preparing for a move to Bramley-Moore Dock and under new ownership, this will be a big summer transfer window for the Merseyside outfit as they look to embark on a new era.
While form has improved under Moyes’ management, Harrison is one who probably hasn’t seen the same change, and it has been suggested that Leeds expect him to return.
Speaking via the Liverpool Echo, though, Harrison has other ideas: “I always have confidence in my ability, so it’s just being able to show it and being able to put it on the pitch.
“When it comes to belief in myself, I know I can achieve a lot more. I have a lot of ambitions, even now. Some people might say, you’re maybe getting on a bit in your career, or something, but I still have a goal, I’ve always had, that is to get into the England squad and be part of a top team in the Premier League, and hopefully I can do that with Everton.
“I think with new ownership, a new manager, and going to an amazing new stadium next season, this is somewhere I want to be. It would be exciting to be part of a bigger picture and help a club get from where we have been for the past couple of years to fighting for European football again, and then even more in the way of silverware.
“With the size of Everton and this fan base, with how passionate they are, there’s no reason why the club can’t achieve that, and who wouldn’t want to be part of it?”

Everton to let go of Harrison
Although Harrison may have his sights set on extending his time with the Toffees and being part of the new era in Merseyside, the winger may have to look at other aims.
With his loan expiring at the end of the season, he probably hasn’t done enough to convince Moyes that this would be a decision worth making.
Given that his goal at Molineux was his first involvement in the entire season, it isn’t a risk worth taking.

If the Blues can keep up their strong form next season, there is no reason they can’t really push on, and therefore, Moyes needs to be looking at improvement.
With Angus Kinnear set to join the Toffees from Leeds United at the end of the season, this could have an impact on proceedings, with suggestions that the incoming chief is already getting a say over Moyes.
However, there will surely be more exciting targets on the list, too.
