Giants Fans Celebrating Michael Strahan’s Healthy Daughter

New York Giants fans are nothing if not loyal. It's why Eli Manning will live on as an icon, and why career Giants remain beloved through thick and thin. It's why Odell Beckham Jr. will always have a home in New York and why the loss of Saquon Barkley left such a mark.

As such, it's common for legends of Giants past to find support from the fanbase long after their tenures come to an end.

The New York faithful recently rallied around Super Bowl-winning defensive end Michael Strahan, a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and one of the foremost members of the organization's accomplished history.

When his daughter, Isabella, underwent treatment for a brain tumor, support came from every corner of the Giants' internet community. Now cancer-free, Isabella is just months removed from ringing the bell, and New York fans flooded social media with uplifting comments after a recent post.

Giants fans are all saying the same thing about Strahan's daughter, ensuring the franchise legend – and his family – remain in good spirits.

Strahan recently spoke about how his children shape his perspective, and how these reminders will make his post-playing career shorter than some of his co-stars.

"I'm not planning on retiring anytime soon. I will at some point, and I'd like to say a lot sooner than a lot of people probably think I will," Strahan told T&C. "When I do it, it will be because I just want to have the freedom to be with (Isabella) and her sister, and her other sister and brother. Wherever they are, whatever they're doing, I want to be there."

When he reflected on his daughter's illness, Strahan was understandably emotional.

"[Isabella] was thin and tired and bald and all the things you hate to see your kid go through. But her spirit was there," Strahan said, via People.

"One of the things she said, probably the hardest thing I had to hear was, 'Dad I'll do whatever. I want to live.'"

Strahan accomplished so much during his 15-year NFL career. He set the sack record, won a Super Bowl and Defensive player of the Year, and earned four first-team All-Pro selections.

In a flash, it ceases to matter.

"Isabella's strength and resilience was the same as it was when she was a little girl. The way she handled every day with grace was amazing. I knew she wouldn't quit. She was going to fight - and she did."
