Jack Harrison lists three reasons why he wants to stay at Everton instead of returning to Leeds United

Jack Harrison might end up playing against Leeds United next season as he’s made his future very clear.

It’s seemed ever since Harrison made the loan move to Everton in the 23/24 season that it was set in stone that he would move there permanently.

However, there have been implications since this point as Harrison could return to Leeds still.

Whether this happens is another question, but it seems like the winger has found himself in a situation where any outcome could happen.

David Moyes wants more from Harrison, but the on-loan Leeds player has confirmed Everton is the place he wants to be.

Jack Harrison’s three reasons why he wants Everton move over Leeds United

It’s going to be an interesting scenario in the summer, especially as Harrison’s contract with the Whites doesn’t expire until 2028.

This can be perceived as Leeds getting a solid fee for the winger, but Everton might also be questioning whether they want to spend so much on Harrison.

There are different views on his situation, but David Prutton thinks Leeds should keep Harrison, however, the 28-year-old clearly has his mind elsewhere.

Speaking to Everton’s club media, Harrison made his feelings clear about what he wants to do with his future and has given the three reasons why.

“I think with new ownership, new manager & going to an amazing new stadium, this is somewhere I want to be,” Harrison said.

“It would be exciting to be part of a bigger picture and fighting for European football again and silverware.”

Angus Kinnear can play pivotal role in helping Leeds in this deal

As it’s obvious Angus Kinnear will be joining Everton, Leeds could potentially use his exit as an advantage.

Kinnear still has until the end of the season, so he could use the Harrison exchange as a parting gift after eight years at the club.

If Everton want to sign the winger they’ll have to strike up a comfortable deal for both sides, and Kinnear will be heavily involved.

The CEO knows how Leeds bargain and with Harrison wanting an Everton stay they can come to an agreement which favours both sides having both held the player for so long.

If Daniel Farke and the 49ers want a consistent summer, they’ll have to get this deal out of the way in the early stages.
