Chelsea and Arsenal eyeing deal for 23-goal striker?

Chelsea and Arsenal could compete for the services of Jonathan David at the end of the season, according to TuttoJuve.

The Canadian star has been in superb form for Lille this campaign. He has scored 23 goals and provided 10 assists for the French outfit.

He is expected to leave when his contract expires on June 30 and reports claim that he could be Premier League bound.

West Ham have already made contact with his agents, but Chelsea and Arsenal could provide stiff competition as well.

David has yet to decide on his next club. He is currently focused on ending the season on a high and could delay discussions.

Chelsea could see him as a replacement for Nicolas Jackson, who has been linked with a potential move to Spain with Atletico.

Arsenal, on the other than, are yearning for more options up front. David could be seen as a quality alternative in the squad.

Gabriel Jesus is out until December with a serious knee injury.
