Barcelona have been hit with a blow as Pau Cubarsi has been forced off injured during Thursday’s Nations League tie with the Netherlands in Rotterdam.
Cubarsi was one of three Barcelona players named in Luis de la Fuente’s starting XI, with Pedri and Lamine Yamal also in from the off.
However, Cubarsi didn’t even make it until half-time as he was forced off in the first half with what looked to be an ankle injury.

Bournemouth’s Dean Huijsen was sent on to replace Cubarsi and made his debut for the senior side in the process.
Barcelona now face an anxious wait on Cubarsi’s injury and it comes at a really bad time.
Hansi Flick has just lost both Inigo Martinez and Marc Casado to injury and may now also be without Cubarsi for a little while.
The Barca boss will also be short of defenders for next week’s game against Osasuna if Cubarsi is sidelined, as Ronald Araujo is also expected to miss the game as he’s on international duty with Uruguay.
