Bills’ Stefon Diggs ‘Concern Level’ Analyzed During AFC East Visit

At 31 years old, All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs may not be the same elite player he once was for the Buffalo Bills, but that doesn't mean he can't be a serviceable starter.

It's why his visit with the New England Patriots turned plenty of heads in the AFC at this point. Diggs recorded 47 catches for 496 yards and three touchdowns last year in his first year with the Houston Texans after the Bills traded him during the offseason.

Diggs' time in Buffalo ended quite contentiously as he looked to get past the Kansas City Chiefs in a competitive AFC. And he remains highly motivated as well.

Back in the fall, Diggs interviewed GQ Sports' Clay Skipper about his overall mindset.

"I love the noise," Diggs said. "Push me in the corner, I'm gonna show you my best (expletive). I'm a person that enjoys being doubted. I enjoy proving people wrong, but also, I enjoy doing it for myself. Everything I say I am, I am. I'm standing true to it. And every time I prove myself right, everybody disappears. I like when they get quiet."

Diggs potentially signing with the Patriots should concern teams in the AFC East like the New York Jets or Miami Dolphins. It shouldn't concern the Bills.

For one thing, last season showed that Josh Allen did not need Diggs to be elite. That much is clear. Buffalo also has a very strong secondary that has dominated the division for years now.

The Patriots were the worst team in the division last season, and over the last few years.

And until they improve their offensive line, it's hard to take any concern seriously at this point for Buffalo.
