The Phoenix Suns are expected to be major players in this year's offseason, with trade chips Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker all included in NBA trade rumors to some extent. As the Suns try to rebuild, the San Antonio Spurs have the assets to give them a brighter future than they currently have.
Durant is the biggest name linked to the Spurs, although if the Suns make Booker available, it's hard to imagine the Spurs not selling the farm for a chance at a trio of Booker, De'Aaron Fox, and Victor Wembanyama.
A recent social media post may have hinted at Booker wanting to play with Wemby.
If Booker lists the Spurs as a desired landing spot, he wouldn't be the first. Fox made it clear he wanted to play with Wemby before the Sacramento Kings granted his wish, and Dink Pate and AJ Dybantsa, neither of whom has been drafted yet, have said that the Spurs are their ideal landing spots.
On an Instagram post, Booker took the time to shout out Wembanyama, who is signed to Nike.

Booker also has a signature shoe with the athletic giant, although his sneakers retail for $30 less than Wemby's, which feature his alien logo on the heel and on the insole.

Of course, Booker is a well-known sneakerhead and just appreciates good merch when he sees it, but with the Suns in a tailspin and the Spurs being a hot team on the rise, rumors quickly began to pick up, and it's easy to see why.
