Brandon Jennings is well loved by the Milwaukee Bucks community but his latest pronouncement about his career has a lot of people raising their eyebrows.

He has been a defender of anything Bucks related this season. He defended Khris Middleton when the forward was belittled by Gilbert Arenas. He is a vocal supporter of Giannis Antetokounmpo.
His take, however, concerning Jrue Holiday does not sit well with a lot of people. He said he is better than the two-time NBA champion.
“Jrue Holiday’s never been better than me,” Jennings in a podcast show with Arenas.
“Jrue Holiday has never been better than me. He has a better career. They have better careers than me. Are you (expletive) crazy? They ended up becoming better but you’re not better than me.”
Holiday’s first All-Star appearance was in 2013 when he was still part of the Philadelphia 76ers. His second one came in 2023.

Jennings played for the Bucks from 2009 to 2013 and his best year scoring-wise was in 2012. In 2013, he and Holiday has an almost identical stats but he did not make it to the All-Star.
Marcus Thornton slams Milwaukee Bucks legend for rant
Nine-year NBA veteran Marcus Thornton joins the conversation in social media saying he is better than Jennings and that his claim about Holiday has no factual basis.
“Man, what you got going, man? You couldn’t do nothing with me. At all. First of all, you were too small,” he said in the video .

“You think like you averaged 40 points a game in the league or something and were a multiple-time All-Star. You wasn’t that, bruh.”
Jennings did not waste time to respond on Thornton’s rant.
“People are talking really hope you can set something up it’s fun times right now in the basketball world,” he wrote in a quote post on X.
