Strippel came off the bench shortly after the hour mark and got herself on the score sheet seven minutes after coming on.
Jenna Markham hooked a ball over the top of the Moneys defence which Strippel latched onto, and she cooly finished past keeper Libby Stratton.
The two-goal advantage didn’t last long as Moneyfields got one back through Brooke Garcia, although the Cherries held on for the three points – thanks in large part to Erin Foley’s stoppage time penalty save.
Speaking about the goal to the Daily Echo after the game, Cuss said: “We wanted to try and get Ellie in those forward areas and try and create a chance for her.
“I thought Jenna did well in the build-up and set it through to her. And Ellie strikes a lovely ball and she hit it and it was a great finish and a good moment for Ellie as well.

The win sets up an opportunity for the Cherries to win the title at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday. Tickets for the game against Bristol Rovers can be purchased on the AFC Bournemouth website.
