Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry returned to the lineup on Thursday night against the Toronto Raptors after missing his team's previous contest. Sitting out in Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Curry saw his team pull off a 104-93 victory to maintain its hold on the Western Conference's sixth seed.
Dealing with a back injury, Curry has been less than fully-healthy. This is something Anthony Slater of The Athletic detailed ahead of Thursday's game, revealing on 95.7 The Game that Curry has been paying through a back issue.
This already concerning news was intensified when Curry took a hard fall on his back during the third quarter on Thursday.

Walking slowly to the locker room, Curry was removed from the game after playing 25 minutes and tallying 17 points. The Warriors have since announced the unfortunate news that Curry has a pelvic contusion and will not return to the game.
"Stephen Curry (Pelvic contusion) will not return to tonight's game," the team announce via its PR account on X.

At age-37, Curry has dealt with a few different ailments this season. Several of his appearances on the injury report have been related to his knees, but it has been a back issue recently causing him discomfort. This contributed to Golden State's decision to hold him out of Tuesday's contest.
Entering Thursday, Curry was averaging 24.3 points and 6.1 assists in 59 games this season. Golden State entered the contest in good form, having won eight of its last 10 games to remain above the Western Conference Play-In Tournament picture.
