Following a string of attacks on Tesla, US President Donald Trump on Friday warned that those targeting the automobile company and funding the attacks could face up to twenty years in jail.
"People that get caught sabotaging Teslas will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU," his post on Truth Social read.

Attacks on Tesla showrooms, cars, and charging stations have increased alarmingly after CEO Elon Musk was appointed by the Trump administration to head the Department of Government Efficiency, a department mired in controversy over government spending cuts.
A day before Trump’s warning, US Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear that anyone who joins “this wave of domestic terrorism against Tesla properties” will be put behind bars.
