Arsenal could be without as many as five players when they return to Premier League action against Fulham at the start of April.

But with the Gunners 12 points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool, they will hope to gain ground on the Reds when they return to action in just over a week's time.

However, Arsenal will be without Gabriel Jesus, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kai Havertz and possibly Bukayo Saka for the match against Fulham - while Riccardo Calafiori is a new injury concern after limping off for Italy.

Here, football.london looks at the latest details surrounding [Arsenal's](https://www.football.london/arsenal-fc/) injured players and when they could return.

#### Bukayo Saka

Saka is making good process in his recovery from a serious hamstring injury he sustained at the end of December - and could make his return to action before the end of the season.

The England international has missed Arsenal's last 13 Premier League matches through injury but earlier this month, Arteta issued a positive update on the forward.

"He's getting closer," said Arteta. "He's stepping up and making very good progress, I would say"

**Expected return: Before the end of the season**

#### Riccardo Calafiori

Calafiori was forced off with an apparent injury in the closing stages of Italy's defeat to Germany on Thursday. The defender slipped on the pitch with his knee appearing to buckle underneath.

The centre-back received treatment but could not continue. Italy head coach Luciano Spalletti said: "He said that his knee feels strange, but cannot answer more precisely than that, so we’ll have to see."

Calafiori is expected to be assessed by Italy's medical staff ahead of the second leg of their Nations Leaugue quarter-final with Germany.

**Expected return: Unknown**

#### Gabriel Jesus

Jesus has been out of action since suffering an ACL injury in Arsenal's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United at the start of January.

The Gunners have since confirmed that Jesus will be out of action for a significant amount of day and, therefore, miss the remainder of the season.

**Expected return: Next season**

#### Takehiro Tomiyasu

Last month, Tomiyasu confirmed that he had undergone knee surgery and is likely to miss the remainder of the 2024/25 season.

**Expected return: Next season**

#### Kai Havertz

Kai Havertz's season was brutally ended when he suffered a hamstring injury on Arsenal's mid-season training camp to the Middle East.

The Gunners have confirmed that the Germany international will be sidelined with the muscle injury until the start of the 2025/26 season.

Writing on Instagram after undergoing surgery, Havertz said: “The last few days have been tough to process both physically and mentally. But yesterday was a good day. A successful op and a win.

“Thanks for all the messages of support over the last few days, it’s really helped. “I’m now focused on my journey to full fitness and giving all the support I can give to the team in the background.”

**Expected return: Next season**
