The Golden State Warriors secured a 117-114 win over the Toronto Raptors at Chase Center on Thursday night. Led by Draymond Green (21 points, seven rebounds, five assists) and Jimmy Butler, who recorded a 16-11-12 triple-double, the Warriors have now won 16 of their last 18 games since the trade deadline.
Despite the victory, the biggest concern for Golden State was Steph Curry's injury. The two-time MVP, who had been dealing with back soreness, landed awkwardly in the third quarter and was forced to exit the game. The Warriors announced he had suffered a pelvic contusion that ended his night after 25 minutes. Curry finished with 17 points before heading to the locker room.
Curry is now set to undergo an MRI scan to determine the severity of the injury and his expected recovery timeline (via Anthony Slater of The Athletic). With the star guard potentially sidelined, Butler emphasized the importance of discipline in the upcoming games.
"We can't afford to turn the ball over," Butler said. "We can't afford to foul. Because we don't have the one individual who can automatically get us back into the game."

Curry's potential absence comes at a crucial point in the season, as the Warriors (41-29) continue their push for automatic playoff qualification. The Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves are closing in on the sixth seed, making each game increasingly important.
With Curry averaging 24.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists on 44.7% shooting, Golden State will need Butler, Green, and the supporting cast to step up if he misses time. The Warriors now shift their attention to Saturday's matchup against the Atlanta Hawks as they await an update on Curry's injury.
