Mohammed Kudus has not managed to live up to previous levels at West Ham United this season, yet that has not stopped interest growing from elsewhere.

Kudus was poor against Everton last time out and has not been near his best all season, with just three goals and one assist from 24 Premier League matches.

Despite his lack of form, Kudus continues to be linked with numerous clubs ahead of the summer window.

Saudi clubs interested in Kudus transfer

Kudus was regularly lauded last season as he was directly involved in 14 Premier League goals in his maiden campaign at the London Stadium.

Exit talk was therefore inevitable last summer, such is the way of football, but the Ghanaian remained in place.

That could change in the next transfer window, though, if what journalist Ben Jacobs has said is anything to go by.

Kudus’ record for West Ham in the Premier League this season

Speaking to The Boot Room [20 March], Bailey explained that, while rumoured interest from Arsenal is wide of the mark, West Ham may struggle to hold off interest from abroad.

Asked specifically if Arsenal want to sign the West Ham forward, Jacobs said: “Kudus, no.

“I think there will be firm Saudi interest in Kudus after Al-Nassr tried for [Kaoru] Mitoma, they made a late approach to West Ham for Kudus.

“There will be significant Saudi interest that may be difficult for West Ham to turn down. I’m not aware of too much between Arsenal and Kudus at this stage.”

West Ham to cash in on Kudus in summer window?

Kudus, much like the West Ham squad in general, has been disappointing this season.

If a big-money offer is tabled for the 24-year-old in the coming months, West Ham chiefs will have a major decision to make.

Bringing in a large sum would help Graham Potter to strengthen in other areas, which is no doubt needed ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

However, Kudus was superb for much of last season and there is no reason why he cannot reset and come back the same next term.

If West Ham have a fit-and-firing Kudus in the attack, it would be a better option than any other player out there for a similar fee.

These remaining weeks of the campaign may yet decide which direction the Hammers decide to go.
