Hearts prospect Alfie Osborne
Brighton are on the trail of Hearts youngster Alfie Osborne.
The English Premier League club watched the teenage defender for Scotland under-17s in their 2-2 draw with North Macedonia on Wednesday.
The Seagulls have been watching Osbourne for some time as he is one of the main prospects coming through at Hearts.
The 16-year-old was also one of a number of the Scotland under-17 team who were invited to train with Steve Clarke ’s Scotland squad at the start of the week.
Brighton are expected to watch Osbourne tomorrow when Scotland take on Romania and Liechtenstein on Tuesday.
They have also done their homework on the analytical side of the defender.
Brighton have previously taken Marc Leonard from Hearts before they sold him on to Birmingham City.
